A wide choice of Italian courses
At our Italian school in Florence, we offer a wide range of courses to meet the diverse needs of students, including group Italian courses, individual lessons, combined courses that unite group and private lessons, online lessons, short courses, evening courses, pronunciation courses, courses for families, for au pairs and also courses based in Montecatini Terme.
Our courses cover the six grammatical levels of the Italian language, from A1 to C2, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The school in the center of Florence
At the Parola school, we cater to students of all ages and nationalities: the lessons in the Italian language take place in a stimulating and welcoming environment, thanks to the professionalism and helpfulness of our native-speaking teachers, who hold a degree in humanities or a qualification for teaching Italian as a foreign language.
The Parola institute is located in an enviable position in the historic center which allows you to discover and fully experience the wonders of Florence, its art, and its culture: we will welcome you at Borgo Santa Croce, 17, inside the prestigious Palazzo Mori Ubaldini Degli Alberti.
Parola School is an accredited center for the CILS exam
The CILS exam offers a prestigious certificate of Italian language proficiency: it is an official diploma of the Italian language, approved by the Ministry of Education and managed by the University for Foreigners of Siena.
Having a CILS certification allows you to study and work in Italy with all levels from A2 to C2, to obtain citizenship with the B1 level, and to access Italian universities with the B2 level.
Private and small group courses, in-person and online
Our language center offers in-person lessons, in small groups of a maximum of 12 students, (with an average of 6/7 students in each class) and small-sized online group courses, with a maximum of 5 participants per class (averaging 3 students).
After the courses, the school also offers a wide range of recreational activities designed for its language students, including guided tours of Florence’s most emblematic museums and churches, as well as restaurant dinners, aperitifs, and cultural walks, thus fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of Italian culture.
Italian courses with extracurricular lessons
In addition to Italian courses in Florence, our language center offers art lessons, fashion history courses, and cooking and drawing courses that integrate perfectly with Italian language instruction; programs, available outside of our Italian institute’s regular courses, that ensure an engaging and fun learning experience, enriched by unique experiences in Florence.

Italian language course schedules
Our school offers morning, afternoon, and evening Italian courses, with the option to participate in group lessons or choose individual sessions.
Italian language courses are available all year round, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, at our location in the center of Florence, and also online.
Parola offers excellent flexibility on the schedule of afternoon online lessons, to meet the needs of workers or students attending fashion or art schools in Florence.
