The Parola Italian school offers an excellent variety of group courses in Florence with classes that have a limited number of students (maximum 12 participants).
Our group Italian language courses take place in the morning from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at our location in the historic center at Borgo Santa Croce, 17 in Florence.
The school is located in a central area of the city’s historic center: the Santa Croce district is indeed rich in art and culture.
The group Italian lessons at our institute in Florence guarantee the student a profitable study of the Italian language thanks to the teaching for a limited number of students.
Dates for Parola school’s group Italian courses
The Parola school offers 2 or 3 dates per month for beginner students of the group course.
If you are a beginner student of Italian, you can start a course on pre-established dates throughout the year.
For group course students who already know the basics of the Italian language, Italian lessons can begin every Monday.

The language lessons are conducted with a maximum number of 5 students.

Parola’s group Italian language courses include grammar and conversation for a duration of 4 hours held in the morning.
However, our students can also choose to take only grammar or conversation.

The variety of our group Italian courses allows each student to have a flexible choice that easily adapts to their Italian language study needs.
“Allegro” Course
STANDARD
80 hours – 4 weeks – Standard learning program
4 hours a day for a total of 80 hours per month, with cultural initiatives and recreational activities.
The course allows for an intensive study of Italian. It consists of 2 hours of grammar and 2 hours of conversation in the morning.
Note that it is also possible to attend the course for less than a month. It can be attended for 1, 2, or 3 weeks. The course can be repeated for up to 6 months to reach the most advanced level of the Italian language.
“Andante” Course
SEMI-INTENSIVE
40 hours – 4 weeks
This course allows participants to study the Italian language in a less intensive way during the day: 2 hours in the morning, which can be either grammar or conversation.
COURSE PROGRAM
2 hours a day for a total of 40 hours of lessons, with cultural and recreational activities.
“Molto Allegro” Course
INTENSIVE
120 hours – 4 weeks
6 hours a day for a total of 120 hours of lessons + cultural initiatives and recreational activities.
The course consists of 4 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon to review grammar and practice conversation.
It is also possible to take the course for less than a month, opting for 6 hours of lessons per day for one, two, or three weeks.
“Trio” Course
INTENSIVE
80 hours – 4 weeks
This intensive course is specially designed for students who want to improve and deepen their knowledge as much as possible in a very short time.
The advantage of this course is the low number of participants, which promotes intensive study and the individual progress of each student.
“TRIO” COURSE PROGRAM IN FLORENCE
4 hours of lessons per day for a total of 80 hours of lessons, cultural and recreational activities organized by the school’s teachers.
It is also possible to take this course for less than a month (1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks) or optionally, take 6 hours of lessons per day for (1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 4 weeks).
PLEASE NOTE: in the event that a student has registered for a Trio course and cannot take it because the school does not have other students enrolled for this type of program, the Parola school converts the Trio course into individual lessons.
“Tre Volte” Course
LIGHT
24 hours – 4 weeks
This Italian course consists of language instruction for 2 hours a day, 3 times a week.
COURSE PROGRAM
The Tre Volte course is a low-intensity but educationally effective program.
The course is structured as follows: 2 hours a day, 3 days a week for a total of 24 hours of lessons per month, including cultural and recreational activities from the school.
“Tre Volte Plus” Course
SEMI-INTENSIVE
48 hours – 4 weeks
This course is designed for Italian language instruction of 4 hours a day, 3 times a week.
COURSE PROGRAM
4 hours a day, 3 days a week for a total of 48 hours of lessons per month, including cultural and recreational activities from the school.
Italian course for “Au-Pairs”
LIGHT
24 hours/4 weeks (for Au-Pair students)This course is designed for Italian language instruction of 4 hours a day, 3 times a week.
COURSE PROGRAM
4 hours a day, 3 days a week for a total of 48 hours of lessons per month, including cultural and recreational activities from the school.
“Tono” Course
SEMI-INTENSIVE
40-hour Italian course – 4 weeks
This course is designed for a “mixed” approach to teaching the Italian language, with 2 hours a day, 5 times a week.
It combines Italian grammar with conversation, with 6 hours of grammar weekly (3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and 4 hours of conversation weekly (on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
“Minuetto” Course
LIGHT
10 hours a week – 40 hours – 4 weeks
The Minuetto course offers 2 hours of conversation from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM, for 4 weeks. This language program focuses on fluency, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
“Tocco” Course
LIGHT
10 hours a week – 10 hours – one week and recreational activities
The Parola Italian school also offers a low-commitment course for students who already know a bit of the language but wish to study for a short period of time during their stay in Florence. The course is offered to all those who are in Florence for a short vacation and to those who want to practice the Italian language to refresh their knowledge of Italian.
NOTE: the Tocco course requires the enrollment of at least 3 students.
“Brevissimo” Course
Duration: 2 hours + a 2-hour guided tour of Florence
Our language school in Florence also offers a quick Italian course for all students who wish to learn the basics of the Italian language but, above all, to learn useful phrases for their stay in Italy.
It is an excellent solution for students looking for a short experience in Florence while practicing a bit of the Italian language.
The “Brevissimo” course also includes a walk in the historic center, which can also be a personal shopping walk in Florence with the assistance of a fashion teacher from Florence Fashion Tour.
